Natural-looking Enhancement

For a more finished look and color

Permanent Cosmetic Makeup, also referred to as Micro-pigmentation or Cosmetic tattooing, is a procedure of applying micro insertions of pigment onto the dermal layer of the skin. For centuries, men and women have been utilizing this practice to enhance or correct their skin color. The most common applications involve the eyebrows, eyeliner and lips. Many women who have had this procedure find they wear much less makeup than before, while others continue to apply regular makeup for the more finished look and enjoy the color the permanent cosmetics add to their facial features, especially when no makeup is applied at all.

FAQs About Permanent Makeup

How much does it cost?

Your investment in Kybella® is typically between $800-$2400 per treatment.

How many sessions are required?

Epi Center MedSpa customizes your Kybella® treatment to include as many treatments as needed based on your desired chin profile. Spaced a month or more apart, patients often choose two to four sessions to attain their desired profile.

How long does the process take?

This minimally invasive treatment typically takes 15 to 20 minutes.

How quickly do I see the results?

Most patients begin to experience visible contouring of their profile in about a month with continued improvement over 2-3 months. Multiple treatments are often required for optimal results.

How long do the results last?

Results are long-lasting once you’ve achieved your desired results because the fat cells are destroyed and don’t return. However, if you experience significant weight gain in the future, your neck area may again increase in size.  Kybella is FDA approved for permanent fat reduction.

What is the downtime?

Depending on how much Kybella® is used during treatment, you may experience anywhere from 1-3 weeks of swelling. Most noticeable swelling resolves after 3 to 7 days. Bruising may last up to 2 weeks.

Is it safe?

Yes. The FDA approved Kybella® in 2015.

What are the side effects?

The most common side effects of Kybella® are temporary and include swelling, bruising, pain, numbness, redness, and areas of firm tissue in the treatment area.  Your provider will discuss with you all possible side effects prior to any treatment.

Is the treatment painful?

There may be mild discomfort during the treatment. However, we apply a numbing cream and other forms of pain management to minimize any physical concerns.

Who performs the treatment?

Treatments are performed by our registered nurses, nurse practitioners, and PAs.

How quickly can I get an appointment?

Often we can provide treatment within a few days to a week.

What other treatments are recommended in support of Kybella®?

We often recommend CoolSculpting® before Kybella®. We utilize the CoolSculpting® procedure for debulking the area and then use Kybella® to contour and sculpt. If you suffer from fat and loose skin under your chin and jawline, PDO Threads, Ultherapy and Morpheus are excellent options to lift and tighten the skin.
