How much does it cost?

A full-face treatment is $485 per session. Please call about pricing for other areas such as neck, chest or hands.

How many sessions are required?

For optimal results, a series of 3 to 5 IPL PhotoFacial℠ sessions are recommended. Results are best maintained by having 1 to 2 treatments per year. If treating a more stubborn condition, additional sessions may be necessary.

How long does the process take?

This non-invasive pulsed light treatment  can take as little as 15 minutes and up to an hour depending on the area treated. However, this procedure  requires approximately two hours of your time at the medspa. Before treatment, we thoroughly cleanse the area and apply numbing cream and for added comfort.

How quickly do I see the results?

Some patients see significant improvement after 2 to 3 treatments; others require more. Follow-up treatments are typically recommended to maintain results.

After each treatment, the skin will feel smoother and more evenly toned. However, results do appear gradually and require multiple treatments to see significant change.

How long do the results last?

Results are best maintained with a proper at home skin care regimen and continued yearly maintenance.

What is the downtime?

There is little to no downtime. This is considered a “lunch time” procedure.

Is it safe?

Yes. With any medical procedures there is always a risk of side effects or complications.  Any possible side effects will be discussed with you at the time of consultation.

“I am a ballerina for San Francisco Ballet and I work out very hard during the day and perform at night. I put on street make up during the day and heavy stage make up at night. My skin is constantly sweaty and oily while I’m working out and when I take off the make up, it is incredibly dry. I tend to break out during our performance season and then am forced to try harsh products to keep my skin clear which makes it very hard on my skin. Dancers are supposed to be flawless, but hen you skin doesn’t look like a doll, you don’t feel like a true ballerina. I have tried everything in the market to try to clear up my skin and help keep it healthy during our busy season. I trust Epi Center MedSpa with my life when it comes to well made healthy products that work. When they recommend that I try their new line of products, I will willing to try anything. After the first night my skin improved dramatically. Within one week my skin was flawless and during a crazy tour schedule of putting on and taking off make up in a new environment and city my skin was still beautiful and radiant. I have been getting compliments like ‘you are glowing’ and ‘your skin is so clear and flawless.’ Finally my skin is reflecting how I feel on the inside: healthy and beautiful. Thank you Epi Center for doing what you do.”
