Revitalizing Treatments
To minimize the signs of aging
PRF (platelet-rich fibrin) is an all-natural solution that treats various skin conditions and the first signs of aging, such as fine lines, under-eye hollows, deflated cheeks, and hair loss. PRF contains platelets, white cells, and stem cells. These cells slowly release the patient’s own growth factors when applied or injected, which leads to regeneration in the area being treated. This process allows it to be used for cosmetic volume and hair restoration and in conjunction with MicroNeedling.
WHAT DOES PRF DO AND HOW DOES IT WORK?
PRF is attained by collecting a small amount of your blood during treatment and placing it in a centrifuge to separate the platelets. The PRF is then applied as a topical or injection depending on the treatment. Please schedule a consultation to learn more about our available PRF treatments.

Is PRF Right for Me?
PRF is an excellent option if you are looking to reduce the appearance of skin or hair issues that affect your overall sense of self and want advanced results using your own concentration of white blood cells and stem cells together with blood platelets and plasma. The treatment reduces the signs of aging and other challenging issues through a collagen rebuilding process. The added benefits of this PRF support faster and improved results.
PRF OPTIONS:
PRF MicroNeedling
MicroNeedling with PRF (platelet-rich fibrin) is a cosmetic procedure that uses microneedles to puncture the skin with the addition of PRF for improved healing and enhanced results. After the treatment, our body begins a natural healing process in response and stimulates collagen and elastin production, creating a more youthful skin appearance. Skin texture is enhanced, and there is a reduction in visible scarring, hyperpigmentation, and fine lines.
MicroNeedling causes a micro-injury to the problem areas of your skin using a micro-needling pen that penetrates the skin with tiny needles. This process activates a natural healing response of increased collagen production. As an essential protein for youthful-looking skin, collagen creates a revitalized, firm, smooth, and elastic appearance by filling in and smoothing out fine lines and scars.
When adding PRF to the MicroNeedling treatment, you achieve a variation on traditional MicroNeedling and create boosted benefits and quicker results. A small amount of your blood is collected during the treatment, placed in a centrifuge to separate platelets (PRF), and then applied as a topical during the MicroNeedling procedure. PRF contains platelets, white cells, and stem cells. These cells slowly release the patient’s own growth factors, which leads to regeneration in the area being treated.
PRF Hair Restoration
At Epi Center MedSpa, we offer PRF Hair Restoration for anyone noticing hair loss who wants to reverse their situation. This procedure works by using platelets and plasma collected in a blood draw to be injected into the areas of thinning hair.
PRF Hair Restoration is for anyone experiencing early-stage hair loss and works effectively for both men and women. It is an excellent option for those whose hair is thinning and who don’t want to take regular medication to stop hair loss.
Indications: unwanted hair loss
PRF Injections
PRF Injections are a new kind of filler therapy for those who choose a more natural approach to volume replacement. Treatment can be performed in conjunction with cosmetic dermal fillers such as Restylane and Juvederm.
PRF gradually thickens, firms, brightens, and smoothes the skin. Pairing PRF with cosmetic filler leads to more natural-looking fullness.
FAQs About PRF
How much does it cost?
A full-face treatment is $935 per session. Please call about pricing for other areas.
How many sessions are required?
For optimal results, a series of two to four IPL PhotoFacial℠ sessions are recommended. If treating a more stubborn condition, additional sessions may be necessary.
How long does the process take?
This non-invasive pulsed light treatment takes only 10-20 minutes, depending on the area treated. However, this procedure requires two hours of your time at the medspa. Before treatment, we thoroughly cleanse the area and apply numbing cream for added comfort.
How quickly do I see the results?
Some patients see significant improvement after 2 to 3 treatments; others require more. Follow-up treatments may be recommended to maintain results.
What is the evidence that it works?
After each treatment, the skin will feel smoother and more evenly toned. However, results do appear gradually and require multiple treatments to see significant change.
How long do the results last?
Results vary depending upon what condition we are treating. Lasting results also depend on your ongoing sun exposure, age, and condition.
What is the downtime?
There is little to no downtime.
Is it safe?
Yes. There may be mild side effects, but rarely are there complications. Our highly trained medical professionals ensure that your treatment is safe and reliable.
What are the side effects?
Side effects of IPL Photofacial℠ treatments are rare. However, immediately following treatment, the skin may appear flushed, brown-pigmented spots may appear darker, and capillaries may be more visible. In rare instances, temporary swelling and blistering can occur.
Is the treatment painful?
When the pulse of light is delivered, the sensation is similar to the snap of a rubber band. Some find it mildly painful, and others do not. If you are concerned, we do offer a topical anesthetic.
