Karen Caldwell

Karen CaldwellIn 2011, Karen Caldwell launched her own label, Karen Caldwell Design. The line, targeting better boutiques and specialty department stores, is characterized by bold colors, retro-Hollywood-influenced silhouettes, and styles that won’t be lost in a crowd. Her designs have been seen on the Red Carpet at the Emmy’s and are staples pieces for many of San Francisco’s extravagant galas.

“My favorite thing about Epi Center is of course, the products and skin services. However once you walk into its elegant and serene ambiance, you feel just better being in the Spa. My favorite services are the ones which pertain to the amazing facials and also the DermaSweep Microdermabrasion. My face feels so soft afterwards! My favorite product is the Epi Center line of skin creams. Especially the Retin-A cream. I was born and raised in LA, and loved the beach for years, but unfortunately I have darkened pigment problems because of my love for the sun. You cannot lose by taking care of what was given to you, your skin. Keep it healthy. Epi Center gives you the perfect guidance and advice at doing that. If you can just keep your skin looking fresh and healthy, no matter what your age, you will always look fabulous!”

They are also very giving and philanthropic and I see their involvement with many organizations and causes. Every time I go to an appointment, I learn about something new and leave feeling great and appreciated. Along with the great services, the customer service is exceptional, which is one of the reasons I keep coming back. The facility itself is exquisite-with soothing music, great reading material, delicious beverages and spotless rooms. I love their signature facials and am a proud owner of the Clarisonic, which is like a little piece of Epi and does its part in keeping my skin healthy in between treatments. When I’m in performances I end up applying thick stage makeup 2-4 times a day. Usually my skin ends up feeling dry, red and tortured but with the Epi Center Medspa’s face products my face comes out feeling even more hydrated and smooth than before the rigorous make up routine started. It keeps me feeling like a star.”

“I am a ballerina for San Francisco Ballet and I work out very hard during the day and perform at night. I put on street make up during the day and heavy stage make up at night. My skin is constantly sweaty and oily while I’m working out and when I take off the make up, it is incredibly dry. I tend to break out during our performance season and then am forced to try harsh products to keep my skin clear which makes it very hard on my skin. Dancers are supposed to be flawless, but hen you skin doesn’t look like a doll, you don’t feel like a true ballerina. I have tried everything in the market to try to clear up my skin and help keep it healthy during our busy season. I trust Epi Center MedSpa with my life when it comes to well made healthy products that work. When they recommend that I try their new line of products, I will willing to try anything. After the first night my skin improved dramatically. Within one week my skin was flawless and during a crazy tour schedule of putting on and taking off make up in a new environment and city my skin was still beautiful and radiant. I have been getting compliments like ‘you are glowing’ and ‘your skin is so clear and flawless.’ Finally my skin is reflecting how I feel on the inside: healthy and beautiful. Thank you Epi Center for doing what you do.”
