How long do the results last?

Are there any side effects?
As with any facial filler treatments, side effects of SkinVive are typically related to the injection process. Patients may notice some temporary localized swelling, bruising, and pinpoint bleeding around the injection site. Other side effects are related to allergic reactions, which are rare due to the presence of natural HA in the skin.
How is SkinVive™ by Juvéderm treatment performed?
SkinVive is injected into the dermis (upper layer) of skin using an ultra-thin needle. The injections are quick and patients can return to normal daily activity immediately following treatment.
SkinVive treatments do not require downtime (recovery time). Patients can return to work, school, or any other normal daily activity immediately following treatment.
Is the treatment painful?
Treatment is minimally painful as SkinVive contains lidocaine to reduce discomfort during the injections. A topical numbing cream may also be utilized if desired. While many patients report only feeling a brief prick on the skin as the needle is inserted, some may notice a sensation of pressure as the gel is deposited into the layers of skin.
